Cal Kestis is a Jedi with a rare ability. Namely psychometry. This means, through use of the Force, he can touch an object and get a brief glimpse of it's history. Without your permission, and without plotting, this isn't something he's just going to run around doing.

However, this ability isn't entirely controlled. If an objects history is particularly dark or violent, he'll be forced (hahaha) into experiencing it. Every emotion and action. Images. Sounds. Smells. He'll be stuck in it until the vision is over.

This is something I'd love to plot out and play with some day so if there's something your character has that Cal can sense the Force Echo of, let me know. Please fill out the handy dandy form below and lets get some bullshit started!

Character Name: Ash
Character Object: Her gun/aetheroconverter
Event tied to said object: This is a good memory! Cal will find himself standing next to an elven man of equal height to himself. The man's ears are much larger than the Tolkien elves, sticking out from his head further, and with more dramatic points. The man has very sharp cheekbones and an angular face, his hair pulled back and underneath a hat. He has goggles pushed up on his forehead. He is wearing warmer clothing, though he has the top unbuttoned because the place is quite warm on the inside. The sounds of machinery being worked on - be it clanging, frustrated mutterings as someone works on a machine, or what have you, goes on. There is the sound of a crackling fire somewhere. It smells of gun powder, fire, metal, and sweat in here.

There is a table before him, with Ash's gun and aetheroconverter being worked on. There's a large tome with schematics and notes propped up for reference. The elven man seems to be pointing to something in the book and then to a corresponding area on the aetheroconverter. He's explaining how the design in the book has to differ from the design of Ash's because she has to collect ambient aether rather than personal aether due to the fact that she is fractured and doesn't have enough personal aether to actually sustain what is required for the job. He seems to be worried and bothered by this. Ash is paying attention to him, but she's more just looking at him. There's a fondness in her as she listens to him. It doesn't feel as far away as the rest of her emotions, though she herself can't quite particulate what the feeling is. (It's love. The feeling is love. She just doesn't realize it.)

She'd reach out and place her hand on top of his, giving his hand a small squeeze. She smiles at him and reassures him that it will be fine, they'll figure it out, between the two of them they can solve any problem the engineers can throw at them. He hesitates a moment and looks as if he's about to argue, but he just smiles and gives her fingers a squeeze as he nods. They'd gaze at each other for a moment, then he'd pull his hand away and give her an awkward clap on the shoulder.

"Well, uh, keep up the good work Ash. Why don't you take a break from this and go check on the new recruits?"

She'd give a nod with a playful salute, then walk off to check on the new recruits. She feels light and, more than anything, happy.

Character Name: Prisoner
Character Object: War Spear
Event tied to said object: This one's not so great, if only because you're officially a corpse with no head! I bet that feels weird. Prisoner is a homunculus that possesses corpses. So you're now a blob of cells that's pretty disgusting and you are using a body to do the stuff and the things.

You've just stumbled your way through the mining caverns, bloody and beaten, and you're putting a gem into an indentation on a stone monument. There's no small amount of irritation as the gem is placed into monument and it springs to life. Behind Prisoner's back is the heat of lava, along with the glowing of it and the sound of it bubbling. The light is relatively bright due to the lava and now the monument is glowing, red inscriptions lighting up as a stone door slams open before you. The room beyond is also very well lit and even hotter.

Prisoner enters the room and the door slams shut behind him by some force, but he doesn't jump. The only feeling he has is "this again? Come on." He sits on the first island, his feet hanging over the edge and above the lava pit, taking a breather. He pulls out his health flask and checks it - there are probably two more uses of the reddish orange liquid. He's never been here before, but it is definitely set up like a Boss Room. What an annoyance.

He got up and walked across the bridge. In true Boss Room fashion, the bridge was destroyed by an absolutely gigantic skeletal hand, the fist of which was larger than Prisoner was tall. There was no fear, but there was definitely a kind of nervousness. He's fought large things before, he's bested huge things, but this was new. The Giant rises up form the lava, looking down at Prisoner. It was quite intimidating as the Giant rested both of his large fists on the platform. The Giant spoke:

"The Malaise has really had its way with you." The Giant laughed at Prisoner at his appearance, then squinted down to him. "In keeping with your arrogance!" He drew back, a glare on his skull. "Which has brought nothing but ruin on the Kingdom! In spite of all my warnings..." The Giant's expression changed to being crestfallen. "Not a shred of hope is left to us." The Giant seemed to mull this over for a minute, then grew angry. He yelled only one more word to the Prisoner: "DIE!"

A hand came down to crush Prisoner, but he dodged. Prisoner summoned his war spear to fight, throwing a turret down as he jumped up to dodge a hit. He fought against the large hands over and over, the Giant shooting energy spikes, shooting out lasers from his eyes. The only feeling that Prisoner particularly had was a mixture of confusion and absolute irritation at this fight happening at all. Prisoner ultimately gets grabbed by the Giant, and the only emotion Prisoner feels is tired resignation as he gets crushed and the body desecrated. The memory ends.
