Dec. 22nd, 2019 09:25 amCal Kestis is a Jedi with a rare ability. Namely psychometry. This means, through use of the Force, he can touch an object and get a brief glimpse of it's history. Without your permission, and without plotting, this isn't something he's just going to run around doing.
However, this ability isn't entirely controlled. If an objects history is particularly dark or violent, he'll be forced (hahaha) into experiencing it. Every emotion and action. Images. Sounds. Smells. He'll be stuck in it until the vision is over.
This is something I'd love to plot out and play with some day so if there's something your character has that Cal can sense the Force Echo of, let me know. Please fill out the handy dandy form below and lets get some bullshit started!

Date: 2020-01-22 03:45 am (UTC)Character Object: Sabercane
Event tied to said object: Telli stole her sabercane from Gardula the Hutt while escaping slavery. He'll feel her fear and desperation while she was escaping as well as her burgeoning hope as she stole the transponder for her slave chip and managed to get off Nal Hutta.
He could also get random flashes of her training with it and learning to use it with Maul, and her delight at learning it contained a purple blade (because it matches her skin tone!). She has also killed people with the blade; slavers who tried to recapture her, rivals of the Crimson Dawn, or those who had threatened her.
The kyber crystal that's currently housed in her cane could also give off pretty traumatic visions. It was taken from Jedha after the Death Star's superlaser was tested on the planet. The crystal is quite capable of drawing Force Sensitives into visions of the planet's pain at the weapon strike as well as the sensation of so many lives being lost in the Force.
