Dec. 22nd, 2019 09:25 amCal Kestis is a Jedi with a rare ability. Namely psychometry. This means, through use of the Force, he can touch an object and get a brief glimpse of it's history. Without your permission, and without plotting, this isn't something he's just going to run around doing.
However, this ability isn't entirely controlled. If an objects history is particularly dark or violent, he'll be forced (hahaha) into experiencing it. Every emotion and action. Images. Sounds. Smells. He'll be stuck in it until the vision is over.
This is something I'd love to plot out and play with some day so if there's something your character has that Cal can sense the Force Echo of, let me know. Please fill out the handy dandy form below and lets get some bullshit started!

Date: 2019-12-22 07:46 pm (UTC)Character Name: Raven
Character Object: Book of Azar (not that it should be easy to get as it lives in Raven's backpack)
Event tied to said object: A sense of Age and Wisdom, conflicted feelings of helplessness and peace. Images of the pages being turned over, and over, and over--studied relentlessly looking for answers. (It's all minor stuff.) If he examines the book itself w/o the gift, it's actually the teachings of the Teacher, Azar, who convinced humans to leave behind warlike ways and move to the dimension Azerath for peace and prosperity. We don't actually have much 'info' on Azar or Azarath in the animated series, but here's wiki-links for you anyways. Link one and Link two.
Tl::DR is Raven has it mostly because it's the teachings of the order of monks who raised her, and it's a family thing. Feel free to poke me if you need/want anymore info. Azar was a pacifist so teachings in the book probably are similar to Jedi-teachings in terms of controlling your emotions, seeking non-violent solutions, and trying to defuse/de-escalate conflicts, along with healing.
